Yoga can be used to manage not only physical discomforts but mental and emotional ones, as well. This workshop will provide you with specific yoga poses, breathwork and other techniques to help you manage anxiety.
You will learn about the field of yoga psychology and how to apply its principles to bring more peace to your life on and off the mat.
Teachers, students, and mental health practitioners are all welcome; no previous yoga experience is necessary. Yoga Alliance CEUs and SY CEUs available.
Your instructor, Atmadarshan (Laura Santoro), earned her degree in psychology and worked in psychiatry through Case Western Reserve University at the University Hospitals of Cleveland. She is a Certified Yoga Therapist with the International Association of Yoga Therapists and has taught weekly yoga psychology classes for several years.
