Life is full of all sorts of stressors - it often feels like everything is go-go-go and many of us are either sleep-deprived or have poor sleeping habits. Restorative yoga is an excellent practice that helps to stave off the negative impacts of chronic stress, giving us time for deep rest and harmonizing our body systems so we feel more relaxed, centered, and fit. You will do just a few poses, holding each for several minutes with the support of props to allow body and mind to relax deeply. This Fall series focuses on exploring the Koshas through a variety of techniques. You will be welcome to adapt any of the practices for your unique needs.
