Frequently Asked Questions

  • Our home studio is in South Euclid, Ohio, an Eastern suburb of Cleveland, near the Mayfield-Green intersection. You can also join us online or by on-demand video for weekly group classes. For private sessions or events of any size, we can travel to your location or meet with you remotely.

  • We emphasize comprehensive well-being that includes, but focuses beyond, physical movement. Our non-competitive approach draws from a variety of accessible traditions, including Integrative Yoga Therapy.

Generally, you’ll experience individual poses with a period of rest in-between (Northern style of yoga) and only a few flows (Southern style), such as Sun or Moon Salutations. Group classes typically include asana (poses), pranayama (breathwork), meditations and some discussion of yoga theory and philosophy. A notable exception is the Yoga Nidra class, which tends to focus on a specific technique.

  • Almost all of our weekly yoga classes welcome every level of participant. You’re ready for Intermediate Yoga when, regardless of length of practice or physical ability, you are able to adapt techniques for your unique needs.

Some sessions of Yoga Nidra are better suited to those who are familiar with that practice; see our Classes page for more details on the current offerings.

  • You can find our weekly group class schedule here. All private sessions & events are set up in conjunction with your needs and your instructor’s availability.

  • Yes! Our offerings are presented in a variety of formats, including in-person at our studio, live online, and by on-demand recording. • You can join any of the weekly group classes live at the start of each 6-week series (find the dates on that same page) or participate by on-demand video at any time - you’ll get the recordings of any classes you missed. You can also join any class that says “Drop-ins welcome” anytime.

Private sessions and events can be scheduled whenever it is convenient for both you and your instructor. We can generally see you within 48 hours - contact us for scheduling information.
